Inks Lake State Park: Located approximately 23 miles from Llano on Park Road 4 off Texas 29. Golfing, Fishing, Boating, Swimming, Trails, Texas State Parks Store, Picknicking, Group Facilities, Camping.

Long Horn Caverns: South of Burnet in Burnet County, is 645.62 acres classified as a scenic park in the rugged Hill Country. The park features historical and nature study. Located in the heart of the Highland Lakes, Longhorn Cavern is near four different lakes and communities that offer excellent opportunities in camping, fishing, and hunting.

 

Fall Creek Winery: Combining European wine-making tradition and California technology with Texas Hill Country soil and climate, Fall Creek Vineyards has received national attention for their award-winning wines.

 

Highland Lakes: Information on the lakes, RV Parks, cabins for rent, condos and vacation homes for rent, motels, bed & breakfast inns, and much more. The Highland Lakes are located in the Hill Country of central Texas in Llano and Burnet Counties just 50 to 60 minutes Northwest of Austin and 85 minutes north of San Antonio.

Llano County Historical Museum: Hours: Wednesday through Saturday - 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM; Sundays 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Admission is free. The Llano County Historical Museum is located on the banks of the Llano River, just north of the Highway 16 bridge in Llano. The museum, located in the historic Bruhl Drugstore Building is operated by the Llano County Historical Society, Inc.

 

Bend State Park: Colorado Bend State Park, a 5328.3-acre facility, is located west of Lampasas in San Saba and Lampasas counties. The park currently offers the outdoor enthusiast access to primitive camping, hiking, fishing, which at certain times is terrific, swimming, mountain biking, birding, and nature watching, and guided tours.
