Texas has over 5,000 native wildflower species. These are the products of the state’s different ecosystems. The Texas Hill Country is defined by limestone cliffs, granite outcrops and hidden springs, providing diverse habitats for wildflowers. Favorite wildflowers found around in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, include bluebonnets, Indian paintbrush, phlox, Mexican poppy, winecups, Indian blanket and lemonmint.
